Active: Lux shoots a sphere of light in the target direction that deals magic damage to the first two enemies hit and roots them for 2 seconds. The second enemy is dealt 50% of the damage and rooted for 1 second instead.

Current League

Light Binding

Lux releases a sphere of light that binds and deals damage to up to two enemy units.

Coming from current LeagueThe passive is a weaker, non-AP-scaling proc, so the expected Q-auto-E-auto-R damage total does not add up the same way; Lux plays more as a utility mage.

Base armor also moved from 12 to 16 pre-launch.

Remembering Lux in 2013The environment has far fewer dashes and lower overall movement speed than modern League, so a double-target Q root lands much more often than muscle memory suggests.
